If your most
frequent IT solution to network problems is jiggling a few cables, then it’s
time to go wireless! Fierce Thought’s innovative wireless solutions will
simplify your existing network, increase performance, double reliability,
and give your office or workplace a more professional look.
A wireless network allows you to
share your high-speed internet connection with every PC in your home or
office. Which means you can browse the web from your laptop in the backyard,
print from your couch and email work from your bed when at home or take a
laptop into a conference room and not have to worry about extra cables while
at the office.
Fierce Thought Seattle can add that flexibility to your home computing
experience. Just call our Alex Hathaway, Director of Seattle Operations at
206-915-0747 to arrange for a consultant to come to your home or office to
set up your wireless network.
The Wireless Network Setup includes:
Installation of a router and applicable cards to a high-speed source between
2 computers (wired or wireless). Note: Any additional computer (more than 2)
added to the network will be $50.
Configuration of router settings — Username/Password, SSID and WEP — to
encrypt your network. Thus securing it from rogue intruders that lurk on the
internet.
Verify connections to make sure the networked computers can share and print
(if applicable).
After your network is installed and up and running, the consultant will walk
you through OS file and print sharing and discuss any network limitations
that you might have. If you would like, the consultant will also give you a
demonstration on power cycling procedures and virus/spyware security
education. Lastly, you get information about your secure network and what
keeps hackers out.
Note: Additional charges will apply if your computer already has spyware or
viruses and you want to have them removed. Ask your service consultant for
additional details.
Just another option for making your business function more efficiently, and
that is what Fierce Thought is all about.
