Charlie Stanley started his
technology career in 1997 working in Portland, Oregon, in a computer and
software store called Cyber Exchange. Charlie later became Cyber Exchange’s
Store Manager and eventually coordinated the move and re-branding of Cyber
Exchange to MPH Computing in 2000. When MPH Computing closed its retail
doors in 2002, Charlie took his knowledge and experience to General Pacific,
where he worked with Robert Rolfe to build the We Host Webpages subsidiary,
which is going strong today.
After launching We Host Webpages at General Pacific, Charlie shifted his
career to wireless telecommunications technology at AT&T Wireless (now
Cingular Wireless). At AT&T, he oversaw operations of Receivables Management
and Payment Fraud before accepting a promotion to an Legal & regulatory
Affairs Manager in the Office of the Chairman at AT&T Wireless in Redmond,
Washington, where he worked with the executive leadership of AT&T Wireless,
AT&T Corp, and Cingular Wireless to resolve legal and regulatory
escalations.
Upon the completion of the acquisition of AT&T Wireless by Cingular,
Charlie returned to Portland, Oregon and founded Lucid Logic and co-founded
Fierce Thought. Charlie is currently the President of Lucid Logic, and
Fierce Thought is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lucid Logic. Charlie also
serves on the Board of Directors of the Midway Business Association and the
Hazelwood Neighborhood Association. In addition, We Host Webpages
currently employs Charlie as an independent consultant where he recently
worked with the technology leadership team of General Pacific and We Host
Webpages to assist in the acquisition of Weberz Internet by General Pacific.
Along with Charlie’s extensive technology experience, he has held sales
and management positions with OfficeMax, Blockbuster, Gap, Safeway and Rock
Bottom. During off hours and free time Charlie enjoys snowboarding,
paintball and roller hockey.
